ACCURANCE 3D | OEM

The ACCURANCE 3D sensor is based on Time of Flight (TOF) technology and is designed for high securty entry solutions in OEM projects. It prevents tailgaiting or piggybacking in an airlock to guarantee single authorized access. Datacenters and other high security buildings implement the sensor for its ability to recognize shape, position, moving speed and direction of the target as well as gestures, even in complex backgrounds.

The security provided by an access control system is compromised if an authorised person is followed by an unauthorised one. Tailgating can lead to asset and intellectual property loss and risk to employee safety. ACCURANCE  3D has been designed to analyse the airlock area and detect if more than one person is present.

Time of Flight Technology

The Time of Flight Technology obtains 20.000 points of 3D X, Y, Z data which calculate the distance and position by using the time of the light from the light source to reflect back to the receiver and translate the signal with special designed CMOS imager to get a full 3D range image.

The system

The ACCURANCE 3D system comprises a control box and one sensor for unidirectional applications and two sensors for bi-directional applications. The sensor itself includes a set of infrared LED illuminators and a “time of flight” sensor.
