Image Recognition

2D image recognition technology for automatic doors involves capturing video frames, preprocessing them, detecting and classifying objects, and making decisions based on the detected objects' movements to trigger the door mechanism. This technology enhances the functionality and accuracy of automatic doors, providing better access control and user experience.

How Does it Work?

2D image recognition technology for automatic doors works by using cameras and image processing algorithms to detect and identify objects, particularly humans, in the vicinity of the door.

This technology requires a high-resolution camera, processor for real time computing of video frames, image recognition software with algorithms for object detection, classification, and tracking, and a door control system interfaced with the image recognition system to trigger the door mechanism.

Vector focus method
By calculating the vector information from the three-dimensional outer shapes of humans, and then integrating this information, it is possible to accurately detect a human presence. In addition, complex movement of a human and confirmation of shadow presence or absence are automatically determined, and the difference between a shadow and a human can be accurately recognized and counted

Advantages

Accuracy
Can distinguish between humans and other objects more accurately than traditional motion sensors.

Customization
The software can be adjusted to recognize specific shapes and sizes, enhancing security and reducing false positives.

Integration
Can be integrated with other security systems, such as facial recognition, to enhance access control.
