The OAM-EXPLORER is an activation and safety sensor based on radar and active infrared (AIR) technology. Suitable for industrial and commercial doors, with a maximum mounting height of up to 6 meters. The mobile app allows the sensor to be installed quickly and easily from the ground, making frequent climbing stairs a thing of the past.
Activation and safety
The radar technology ensures a timely opening, the active infrared technology prevents a premature closing and together it results in a smooth flow of people and vehicles. The sensor creates safety in and around the threshold by detecting moving and stationary persons and objects during the set presence time.
Detection area
For safety in and around the threshold, the OAM-EXPLORER is equipped with 2 rows of active infrared, each with 8 spots. The large radar field guarantees early activation for comfortable throughput. Both are adjustable in depth and width.
Installation
The installation of the OAM-EXPLORER is simple and quick. Once the sensor is correctly mounted, it can be installed from the ground and adjusted later using the mobile app. To minimize installation time, we recommend calculating the desired position and degree in the online manual beforehand. When installing multiple sensors, the settings can be copied into the app and then applied to the subsequent installations.
