50m radius, 190° range IP laser sensor, can be integrated with major VMS providers

The REDSCAN RLS-3060 is an award-winning laser scanner detector which can detect a moving object's size, speed and distance from the detector and process that information with a unique built in algorithm. Using LiDAR technology the detection is unaffected by different lighting conditions, shadows or heat sources, providing extremely reliable detection with minimal false alarms.

The detector can be used indoor or outdoor and can be mounted vertically or horizontally according to the application and site conditions.

Detection Range

The RLS-3060SH firmware version 8 and REDSCAN Manager (configuration software) version 8.0 together extend the detection range to 50m (165ft) radius. The extended area from 30-50m is ideal as a pre-warning zone. In horizontal mode, at 50m, the laser scanner will be able to detect large moving objects such as vehicles: in vertical mode the RLS-3060SH could detect a walking or squatting person over 100m.

Changeable Dry- contact Alarm Output type

The new version 8 update offers more flexibility in managing dry contacts with the option to switch from normally open (N.O) to normally closed (N.C). The flexibility in being able to manage multiple outputs means that the sensor suits a number of security applications.

Video Management Software and PSIM integration

The REDSCAN RLS-3060 series is integrated with many Video Management Software and PSIM platforms allowing a number of security scenario including triggering lights, camera pre-set position, public address messages and notification to security staff. The RLS-3060 sensors provide up to 8 independent detection areas when using IP connection and different event rules can be defined for each detection zone creating a unique security system.
